Open Google Sheets, go to Extensions → Add-ons → Get add-ons, and search for "LMS Genie". Click the add-on you want, then click Install. After installation, the add-on menu appears under the ✨ icon in your menu bar. You'll need to authorize the add-on's permissions on first use.

Your credentials are stored securely in your personal Google account using Apps Script UserProperties. They are encrypted, tied to your Google account only, and are not accessible to MentoringU or any other user. You can delete them anytime using the Clear Settings option in the add-on menu.

Test Mode processes only the first data row in your spreadsheet, so you can verify your settings and data format before running a full batch. We strongly recommend using Test Mode before every new operation, especially on production LMS data.

Currently, our Google Sheets add-ons support LearnUpon. Support for TalentLMS, Absorb LMS, Docebo, and other platforms is on the roadmap. Our browser-based tools (Embed Genie, Quiz Genie, etc.) work with any LMS that supports HTML content.

In LearnUpon, go to Settings → Integrations → API. You'll find your API key there. You also need to know your LearnUpon subdomain (the part before .learnupon.com or .learnuponus.com). Enter both in the add-on's sidebar when configuring settings.

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued. Google Sheets add-ons distributed free on the Marketplace continue to work regardless of subscription status.

First, check the status column (Column A) in your spreadsheet — it shows specific error messages per row. Common issues include invalid API credentials (re-enter in Settings), incorrect data formats (check the Instructions sheet), and API rate limits (wait a moment and retry). If the error persists, email us at support@mentoringu.org with a screenshot of the error and we'll help you resolve it.

No. Our Google Sheets add-ons run entirely within your Google account and communicate directly with your LMS. MentoringU never has access to your credentials, your spreadsheet data, or your LMS data. We don't have a backend server that processes your data — it all happens between Google Sheets and your LMS API.
